Single Terminal — Ground Floor Arrivals
Reus Airport operates from a single, compact terminal that makes orientation effortless. The arrivals hall sits on the ground floor — labelled Arribades in Catalan — while departures (Sortides) are on the first floor. Walking from the entrance to the furthest gate takes no more than five minutes.
The terminal handles around one million passengers annually, with the vast majority arriving between April and October. Outside this window it is genuinely quiet: queues are minimal and bag reclaim is fast.
Café bar near check-in (pre-security). Cafeteria and restaurant in both departure lounges (post-security). Vending machines in arrivals.
Aldeasa duty-free (departures — alcohol, perfume, tobacco, souvenirs). Divers newsagent near check-in. Upgraded dual-entrance duty-free for gates 4–9 as of 2024.
Hertz, Europcar, and others — desks to the left of baggage reclaim exit. Cars collected from the adjacent parking area (2-minute walk).
AENA official P2 parking (444 spaces, covered, guarded, 24/7, EV charging points). Located directly opposite the departures terminal — 2-minute walk. Kiss-and-fly zone at departures (5-min max).

Reus Airport operates seasonal flights, with services concentrated April–October. The dominant carriers are British charter and low-cost airlines, which explains why the airport is almost entirely an arrivals hub for British, Irish, Dutch, and German holiday makers.

Monbus Line 50 — Airport to Reus city centre
The only direct bus from Reus Airport is the yellow Monbus L50, connecting the terminal to Plaza de la Llibertat (Reus centre) and the main bus/train station. Journey time is roughly 10 minutes. From Reus station you can connect to Tarragona, Salou, Cambrils, or Barcelona by regional services. The bus does not go directly to Salou or Tarragona — you must connect.

Public bus — Airport direct to Salou & Cambrils
A seasonal public transport bus departs from outside the Arrivals hall directly to La Pineda, Salou, and Cambrils. The journey takes approximately 30–45 minutes. This yellow bus operates with a timetable aligned to major flight arrivals. Services are typically more frequent in high summer (July–August) and may not run at all outside the April–October window — always confirm with the airport info desk before relying on it.
Barcelona
Hispano Igualadina coach — Reus Airport to Barcelona Sants
A dedicated coach service runs from Reus Airport directly to Barcelona Sants bus station. The timetable is built around incoming flights. Journey time is approximately 90 minutes. This is the cheapest way to reach Barcelona from REU, though it terminates at the bus station (not BCN airport or your hotel) and operates only on scheduled departure windows.
Reus
Train (Renfe regional) — via Reus station to Barcelona Sants
There is no train station at Reus Airport. To take the train, you first need to reach Reus city centre (L50 bus: €3.70 / 10 min, or taxi: ~€22). From Reus train station, Renfe regional trains depart approximately hourly for Barcelona Sants (journey time ~1 hour). The total combined journey door-to-Barcelona-Sants is around 90 minutes and costs under €15 — but with luggage and the inter-connection, it requires meaningful effort.

Car hire — Hertz, Europcar & others at REU
Multiple car hire companies (including Hertz) have desks immediately to the left of the baggage reclaim exit. Cars are collected from the adjacent lot — a 2-minute walk. Rental gives you full flexibility around the Costa Daurada. The main access road from the airport is the T-11 highway. Factor in parking costs at your destination (resort parking can add €10–20/day) and tolls on the AP-7 motorway to Barcelona.

Tarragona Roman Ruins (UNESCO)

The preserved monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and include the Roman Amphitheatre (overlooking the sea), the Roman Circus (where chariot races were held), the Tarragona City Walls, Pont del Diable aqueduct, and the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona (MNAT). Salou Beaches & Resort
Salou is the Costa Daurada's most popular resort — 7 km of golden beaches, the Platja de Salou and Playa Capellans being the most famous. The resort has a thriving promenade, abundant hotels in every category, waterparks, and an energetic nightlife strip. It also serves as the gateway town for PortAventura. Peak season runs July–August when the resort fills with British, Irish, Dutch and Scandinavian families.
