Exactly where to find your pre-booked driver
After landing and collecting bags from the Arrivals Hall (Floor 0), look for the meet-and-greet area inside the hall. Your Global Airport Taxi driver will be standing with a clear namecard — usually within the first 5 metres of the arrivals exit. Do not exit to the rank outside before checking the Arrivals hall first.

Quickest runThe eastern capital is just 5 km from the terminal — your shortest possible taxi run. Mahon's natural harbour is one of the deepest in the Mediterranean. Georgian architecture, a vibrant market, and excellent seafood restaurants line the port. The old gin factory (Xoriguer) is open for tastings.
MAH → Ciutadella
Most popular long routeThe historic western capital takes 45 minutes across the island via the Me-1 road. Ciutadella's old town centres on a 14th-century cathedral, a marina lined with restaurants, and honey-coloured palaces. The Camí de Cavalls starts here. By public bus the journey takes 90–120 minutes with a change at Mahon station — most visitors prefer a direct transfer.
MAH → Cala Galdana
Menorca's most developed family resort sits in a pine-fringed horseshoe bay on the south coast. The protected beach is one of the safest for young children. Boat trips from the cove reach Cala Macarella and Cala Macarelleta — two of the most photographed beaches in Spain. No direct bus from the airport serves Cala Galdana.
MAH → Son Bou
Longest beach on the islandSon Bou stretches 2.5 km of flat sand — Menorca's longest beach — making it popular with families. Safe shallow waters and proximity to the inland resort strip of San Jaime make it a practical family base. Early Palaeochristian basilica ruins sit at the western end of the beach.

Cova d'en Xoroi
